Today I'm going to write about a book that I really enjoy it, but first I'm going to talk a little about the author of this book. Agatha Christie was a English crime writer of novels. Born 15 september 1890, in Devon, England. Christie served in a hospital during the First World War, before marrying and starting a family in
London. In 1920, The Bodley Head press published her novel The
Mysterious Affair at Styles, featuring the character of Poirot. This launched her literary career. Hercules Poirot becomes the most famous detective and long-lived characters, appearing in 33
novels, one play Black Coffee, and more than 50 short stories
published between 1920 and 1975 and set in the same era. Poirot has been
portrayed on radio, on screen, for films and television.
The Mistery of the Blue Train tells a history about an assassination. It starts with Katherine Grey. She and Poirot board Le Train Bleu. On board Grey meets Ruth Kettering, an American heiress leaving her unhappy marriage to meet her lover. The next morning,
though, Ruth is found dead in her compartment. Ruth's father, the American millionaire Rufus
Van Aldin, convince Poirot to take on the mistery case.
